Logan Circle in Northwest Washington, once a scruffy part of town, may soon rival Georgetown and the West End for the most upscale housing options in the city.
The Elysium Logan, a new 32-unit, eight-floor condo building at 1427-1429 Rhode Island Ave. NW, is under construction by Madison Investments, owned by Sia and Barry Madani.
Anticipated to be completed this fall, the Elysium will include large one- and two-bedroom units with one to four bathrooms. Seven of the units will have private elevator access and the three penthouse-level units will each have a private terrace with 360-degree views of the city skyline and surrounding neighborhoods.
The Elysium Logan units are priced from $450,000 to $3.2 million. Twenty-five percent of the units are already under contract.
Jeff Akseizer and the Akseizer Design Group is providing interior design expertise for the condos. The units will have hardwood flooring and bathrooms with Waterworks fixtures and Porcelanosa tiles. Buyers can choose between a white lacquer and walnut or a gray and white color scheme in the kitchen, with quartz counters and a marble backsplash.
Building amenities include concierge services, a doorman, package delivery services, bike storage and a gym.
While this condo is on a relatively quiet street, it is within walking distance of some of the city’s most popular restaurants, bars and theaters as well as practical amenities such as a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe’s grocery store.
